    EESACC

A Resource Guide for Effective EESAC Implementation. (Updated 7/28/11)

The Office of School Improvement (OSI) assists schools in developing School Improvement Plans (SIPs) that are in alignment with the District Strategic Plan and state and federal requirements...

The District Strategic Plan lists the prioritized goals and objectives of the District and describes the process for moving toward their attainment through the use of data driven information.

Assistance to schools with the development of School Improvement Plans ensures compliance with the Florida Department of Education and the "No Child Left Behind" federal legislation.  Beginning with the 2008-2009 school year, Miami-Dade County Public Schools is participating in Florida's Differentiated Accountability Model, a four-year pilot program intended to merge the state and federal accountability programs.  This model provides seamless support for schools designated as Prevent I, Correct I, Prevent II, Correct II, and Intervene.
